Partnerships / Public Relations Coordinator
You ensure that there are sufficient resources to develop the exoskeleton, whether that is cash, consultancy, or production capacity, and you make sure that Project MARCH’s exoskeleton reaches the wider public through events and media exposure.
As Public Relations and Partnerships Coordinator you make sure that as many people as possible will get to hear about Project MARCH. You do this by organizing both internal and external events, setting up interviews with interesting parties and staying in contact with the press that writes about us. You will ensure that there will be no one left that has not yet heard about
Project MARCH.
At the same time, you make sure there are enough resources available to actually build the exoskeleton. You investigate and secure consultancy, manufacturers for specific parts of the design, and sufficient financial resources. You enjoy learning about many different subjects and know how to
make external parties enthusiastic about becoming a partner of Project MARCH. To ensure sufficient resources, you are in contact with many different partners. In addition, you work closely with the Marketing Coordinator and the Public Relations Coordinator on everything that is visible towards the outside world, such as events, content, presentations and press.
What you will do as Partnerships / Public Relations Coordinator
As Public Relations & Partnerships Coordinator you are responsible for the coordination of both internal and external events. Together with the Operations Department you organise Project MARCH’s own events, such as the Design Presentation and the Exoskeleton Reveal, and ensure that Project MARCH is well represented at external events like fairs and symposia. You negotiate with event organizers, coordinate team attendance, and are often present at events yourself, where you may also give presentations or pitches.
You are responsible for Public Relations activities, including approaching the press, coordinating press requests, preparing interviews, and reviewing articles before publication. During Project MARCH’s own events, you write press releases and ensure strong media presence. On a daily basis, you attend meetings, prepare events, answer emails and make phone calls, working closely with the Marketing Coordinator, UX/UI Designer and the rest of the Operations Department.
In addition, you monitor the acquisition overview and ensure that sufficient financial, production and consultancy resources are available. You approach new partners, maintain relationships with existing partners, and discuss what both parties can offer each other. You make sure that clear agreements are made and recorded in partner agreements, and you keep track of what Project MARCH delivers in return, such as social media exposure or attendance at partner events. To ensure everything runs smoothly, you are in close contact with the entire team.
