Ton van Doorn

Ton is one of the Mechanical Engineers at Project MARCH X, and is responsible for designing and developing key mechanical systems for the exoskeleton. He works closely with other departments to ensure that each component fits together perfectly, balancing functionality with user needs. He enjoys being part of the design process, from initial concepts to the final production of a functional product.

Ton has always had a passion for creating things. Since childhood, he has enjoyed tinkering with his father, which sparked his interest in engineering. This practical mindset, paired with his deep curiosity about how things work, drives his work in biomechanics. He enjoys the challenge of integrating different mechanical elements to create a device that will ultimately help improve people’s lives, especially those affected by spinal injuries.

Ton holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from TU Delft and started a Master in Biomechanical Design. He is driven by the desire to design and produce products that make a real impact on people's daily lives.
