Thomas Ritmeester

Thomas has been intrigued by electricity for as long as he can remember and enjoys tinkering with electronic devices. After obtaining a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, he decided to take the chance to acquire skills and knowledge regarding his interests in a different way, and joined Project MARCH as Electrical Engineer.

As an Electrical Engineer, Thomas is responsible for  the Power Distribution Board (PDB), the battery and the wiring of the exoskeleton. He is specifically interested in designing electronics, although he takes pleasure in designing and building all sorts of things.

Thomas’ goal for this year is to gain experience with power converters, batteries, sensors and programming, amongst others. Besides, he wants to experience what it’s like to work in an interdisciplinary team, which he himself is a great asset to as he is curious, patient and determined.
