Martijn van Leeuwen
Martijn, our Partnerships Coordinator, is responsible for maintaining contact with our partners and acquiring collaborations with new ones. He thereby ensures that there are enough funds available to finance the development of the exoskeleton. Furthermore, as he is part of the Operations Department, he helps out with other tasks such as organizing our internal events. Whenever Martijn undertakes something, he always goes for the best possible result, making him a great asset to our team.
Martijn especially enjoys visiting our partners at their companies, because then he still sees the tech, despite not having a technical function within the team. After completing his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, he wanted to do something completely different for a year, and acquire skills he didn’t get to practice in his study program. This year, Martijn strives to learn how to maintain contact professionally, how to negotiate and how to handle considerable responsibilities.
Additionally, Martijn chose to join Project MARCH for the reason that your work has a direct impact on someone’s quality of life. He believes that it is important that we deploy our technology for the wellbeing of humans.
