Anneloes van Dijk
As Lead Mechanical Engineer at Project MARCH, Anneloes oversees the design and production of the exoskeleton’s joints and frame, ensuring everything functions correctly. She takes on the challenge of coming up with clever and compact solutions, especially when redesigning components like the rotational joint. She enjoys the process of creative problem-solving and finds satisfaction in bringing her ideas to life, step by step.
Although she’s just completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Anneloes felt that jumping straight into the workforce wasn’t the right choice yet. She saw Project MARCH as the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, motivated team and to build her confidence in the field. The chance to work alongside passionate students, try new things, and make mistakes in a safe environment is exactly what she needs to feel more self-assured as she steps into her career.
Her love for problem-solving and effective communication makes her an ideal fit for the Lead role, where she can be the link between Mechanical and the other departments .
Looking ahead, Anneloes is excited to share the results of her hard work with family and friends at the Design Presentation and, of course, to see Daan take his first steps in the exoskeleton. Her journey at Project MARCH is not just about the technical achievements. It’s about making a meaningful impact, solving complex problems, and growing as an engineer.
